PERFECT PITCH SPECIALTY SALES CONTEST: RULES

 

Want a chance at $500 while honing your perfect sales pitch? Want your store to get a FREE Entourage? Austlen Baby Co. is giving away $500 to the specialty sales associate who can deliver the best Entourage sales pitch, and a free Entourage to that person’s store! Even better, you’ll get $50 for participating!

 

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Have fun! Take a video of yourself pitching the Entourage to your chosen audience (see audience options and video criteria below). Team members can help each other out!
  2. Upload it to www.austlen.com/pitchperfect
  3. If you've met the video criteria (see important information below)¹, we’ll send you $50, and you’ll be in the running for the grand prize of $500². If you’re the winner of the grand prize, your store will also get a FREE Entourage³.

 

Audience:

Select one of the below “parents” to pitch to (you do not need to have a real parent in the video!). See our videos on this page and your new Sales Training Manual for tips and an example of each:

  • Expecting first child (or have one child)
  • Expecting second child (or have 2 children)

     

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    (1) VIDEO CRITERIA:

    • Include a minimum of 5 selling points from your Austlen Sales Training Manual. Manuals should arrive at your store by Feb. 23. If you don't receive yours, please email sales@austlen.com.
    • Demonstrate at least 3 key functions (e.g., fold, unfold, add/remove/stow second seat, add/remove/stow Sit+Stand, install/remove car seat adapters, etc.).
    • Deadline to submit videos is March 17, 2017.

    (2) THE INCENTIVE:

    Upon successful upload of your video, the Austlen team will review it for content and criteria. Once approved, we'll send you $50 (mailed to the address provided). If the video does not meet our criteria, we will let you know so that you can try again. Practice makes perfect! While you’re eligible for a single $50 incentive, you may enter as many videos as you’d like for consideration for the grand prize. Austlen will select the winning video sales pitch from all entries received -- the overall winner will get an additional $500, and their store will receive a free Entourage!

     

    (3) ELIGIBILITY:

    Must be a current, active sales associate, manager or owner of an Austlen Authorized Specialty Retailer during the entire period of competition (Feb. 22, 2017-March 31, 2017).  Must be at least part-time and work regularly on the sales floor during normal business hours. Winner and store will be announced via email by March 31, 2017.
