The Austlen Entourage: Mommy’s Dream Stroller (After Trying Practically Everything)

When I say I’ve tried every stroller, I truly mean it.

My stroller journey started when my first son was born. We bought the Britax travel system after reading great reviews, and for the price, it wasn’t terrible. But we quickly outgrew it, and the storage basket just wasn’t big enough for real life with a baby.

So we upgraded to the Uppababy Cruz. I liked the storage, but when we found out we were expecting again, we knew we needed a double stroller. That’s when things got complicated.

Searching for a stroller that could actually keep up

We bought a double BOB for rough roads since we already owned a single BOB (yes, I fully admit I have a stroller addiction). But I still needed a good everyday double stroller, something versatile that could truly accommodate my family’s needs, and not take up the entire sidewalk.

We tried the Baby Jogger City Select double because it held more weight than the Uppababy Vista. With a 2½-year-old who already weighed 40 pounds, the Vista just wouldn’t work. Its second seat only holds 35 pounds.

Unfortunately, I knew almost immediately that the City Select wasn’t the answer either. I hated how uncomfortable my toddler looked when we tried to fit the infant seat. The angle was awkward, and snapping the infant seat in with the double seat attached was frustrating every single time.

So we gave up and relied only on our double BOB while I kept searching.

Finding the Entourage changed everything

About a week or two after we got home from the hospital, I discovered the Austlen Entourage stroller.

I ordered it immediately, along with both infant seat adapters. The day it arrived, my husband and I put it together and used it right away.

And honestly? There were a million things I instantly loved.

He’s larger for his age (his dad is 6’7”), and finding something that fits him well has always been a challenge. In the Entourage, he fits comfortably in the primary seat at any angle he likes. He can sit upright or recline fully, which was impossible with other strollers we tried.

That alone makes this the best stroller for tall kids I’ve ever used.

Flexibility for a growing family

My infant, who is now four months old, can use the stroller as a single or a double with his Cybex car seat. Technically, we could use our Cruz for that, but the Cruz can’t meet our actual daily needs.

My son was born blind.

That means our outings look different than most families’. On any given day, I’m carrying huge diaper bags, book-sized paperwork, babywearing gear, therapy supplies, and more. The Entourage fits all of it, with room to spare.

This is why I genuinely consider it the best special needs stroller for our family. It supports not just my children, but everything that comes with caring for them.

Storage that feels endless

We’ve had days where the stroller was loaded with both kids and two full, heavy boxes, and it still rode like a dream. As my son grows and starts using his pre-cane and later his toddler cane, I can carry those too, along with therapy gear, all on my own.

Even for simple trips like shopping at the mall, the storage makes life easier. I don’t have to choose between what to bring and what to leave behind.

A stroller that will grow with us

The best part about the Austlen Entourage 2.0 is that it will continue to grow with my family. From infant, to toddler, to sit-and-stand stages, it adapts without forcing us into uncomfortable compromises.

It’s not just a stroller. It’s a tool that helps us move through the world more confidently and independently.

I couldn’t be more in love with this stroller or its functionality. It truly feels like Mommy’s dream stroller, and it’s going to be a huge help for our family for years to come.
